Parkerville Children and Youth Care’s Volunteer Vision represents our commitment to enriching our service delivery through welcoming and utilising the knowledge and skills of volunteers to work across all programmes. To assist us in delivering our mission, volunteers are warmly welcomed, inducted and engaged to maximise the benefits of the experience for both Parkerville and each individual who gives of their time.

Many kind people already contribute significantly to the delivery of our programmes by supporting children, young people, families and staff in a variety of ways.

Volunteers currently provide mentoring, tutoring, group programme support and administrative and gardening assistance, enriching the lives of our children and our therapeutic environments.

All community members interested in becoming a Volunteer with Parkerville Children and Youth Care are invited to attend a ‘Volunteer Information Session’, which occur fortnightly.

The upcoming information sessions are:

Thursday, July 24, 2014

In the months of July and August, the Volunteer Vision is hoping to welcome new individuals who can provide tutoring and homework support to children and young people connected with Parkerville, across the metropolitan area and in Geraldton, Carnarvon and Meekathara. If you have skills and an interest in tutoring, we would love to hear from you.
